These Terms of Use for Location-Based Services ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Letter Bridge ("Company") and users with respect to the GO-KO location-based services ("Services"). They are established under the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information (the "Location Information Act") to protect users' personal location information and ensure its safe use. Separate consent is obtained for these Terms, in addition to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users in connection with the use of the location-based services.

Article 2 (Rules Other Than These Terms)

Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by the Location Information Act, the Personal Information Protection Act, the Network Act, other relevant laws, and the Company's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Article 3 (Service Content)

Based on the user's consent, the Company provides the following services using the collected personal location information:

• Recommendation of nearby restaurants, accommodations, and transit
• Guidance and map display based on the user's current location
• Location-based personalized content (advertising, if introduced after launch, will require separate consent)

Article 4 (Consent to and Method of Collection/Use of Personal Location Information)

4.1. Items collected: precise location (GPS) or approximate location (IP-based).

4.2. Method of collection: automatically collected via the device's location permission after the user's consent.

4.3. The user may choose whether to consent at sign-up or upon first use of the location feature; without consent, location-based services are not provided.

4.4. The user may withdraw consent at any time through the device OS settings or in-app settings.

Article 5 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Location Information)

5.1. The Company processes collected personal location information immediately upon service provision and does not separately store it in combination with personally identifiable information.

5.2. However, records confirming the use and provision of location information under Article 16 of the Location Information Act are retained for six months from the date of collection, use, or provision.

5.3. The Company may use users' personal location information in pseudonymized form for statistical compilation, scientific research, and service-improvement analysis (Article 28-2 of the Personal Information Protection Act).

Article 6 (Notification of Records of Use/Provision)

6.1. Upon the user's request, the Company notifies the user of the records of use and provision of personal location information at least once a year.

6.2. Method of notification: email (team@letterbridge.co) or in-app display.

Article 7 (Provision to Third Parties)

7.1. The Company does not currently provide users' personal location information to third parties.

7.2. If third-party provision becomes necessary in the future, the Company will notify the user of the recipient, purpose, and items provided, and obtain separate consent before provision.

7.3. When providing to a third party, the Company notifies the user immediately upon provision.

Article 8 (Rights of Legal Guardians of Children Under 8, etc.)

8.1. For the protection of the life or body of a child under 8, a person under adult guardianship, or a person subject to the Dementia Management Act, consent by the legal guardian is deemed consent to the use of personal location information.

8.2. The legal guardian may express consent in writing or by email and may withdraw it at any time.

Article 9 (Rights of the Personal Location Information Subject)

Users have the following rights, which the Company guarantees:

• Withdrawal of all or part of consent to the collection, use, and provision of personal location information
• Temporary suspension of the collection, use, and provision of personal location information
• Request to access, be notified of, and correct records of use/provision
• Rights may be exercised by request to team@letterbridge.co

Article 10 (Limits on Accuracy and Reliability)

10.1. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of location information. Errors may occur depending on GPS reception conditions, device performance, weather, and other factors.

10.2. The Company is not liable for any damage incurred during service use due to such errors, except in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence.

Article 11 (Change and Suspension of Service)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Services for operational or technical reasons and will notify users in advance via the App or email.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

12.1. Disputes related to location information are resolved primarily through consultation between the Company and the user.

12.2. If consultation fails, the user may apply for adjudication by the Korea Communications Commission or for mediation by the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.

본 약관은 레터브리지("회사")가 제공하는 GO-KO 위치기반서비스("서비스")에 관한 권리·의무 및 책임사항을 규정함을 목적으로 하며, 「위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률」("위치정보법")에 근거하여 이용자의 개인위치정보를 보호하고 안전하게 이용할 수 있도록 마련되었습니다. 본 약관은 개인정보처리방침·이용약관과 별도 동의를 받습니다.

제1조 (약관의 목적)

본 약관은 회사가 제공하는 위치기반서비스의 이용과 관련하여 회사와 이용자 간의 권리·의무 및 책임사항을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.

제2조 (약관 외 준칙)

본 약관에 명시되지 않은 사항은 위치정보법, 개인정보보호법, 정보통신망법 등 관련 법령 및 회사의 개인정보처리방침·이용약관에 따릅니다.

제3조 (서비스의 내용)

회사는 이용자의 동의를 바탕으로 수집된 개인위치정보를 활용하여 다음 각 호의 서비스를 제공합니다.

• 주변 식당·숙박·교통편 정보 추천
• 이용자 현재 위치 기반 안내 및 지도 표시
• 위치 기반 맞춤형 콘텐츠 제공 (광고는 출시 후 도입 시 별도 동의를 받습니다)

제4조 (개인위치정보의 수집·이용 동의 및 방법)

① 수집 항목: 정밀 위치정보(GPS) 또는 대략적 위치정보(IP 기반)

② 수집 방법: 이용자 동의 후 단말기 위치 권한을 통해 자동 수집

③ 이용자는 서비스 가입 또는 처음 위치 기능 사용 시 동의 여부를 선택할 수 있으며, 동의 없이는 위치기반서비스가 제공되지 않습니다.

④ 이용자는 단말기 OS 설정 또는 앱 내 설정을 통해 언제든 위치정보 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다.

제5조 (개인위치정보의 보유 및 이용기간)

① 회사는 수집된 개인위치정보를 서비스 제공 즉시 처리하며, 개인 식별 정보와 결합하여 별도로 보관하지 않습니다.

② 다만, 위치정보법 제16조에 따른 이용·제공 사실 확인자료는 수집·이용·제공한 날로부터 6개월간 보관합니다.

③ 회사는 이용자의 개인위치정보를 가명처리하여 통계작성·과학적 연구·서비스 개선을 위한 분석 목적으로 이용할 수 있습니다 (개인정보보호법 제28조의2).

제6조 (이용·제공 사실 확인자료 통보)

① 이용자가 요청하는 경우, 회사는 개인위치정보 이용·제공 사실 확인자료를 연 1회 이상 통보합니다.

② 통보 방법: 이메일(team@letterbridge.co) 또는 앱 내 디스플레이.

제7조 (개인위치정보의 제3자 제공)

① 현재 회사는 이용자의 개인위치정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

② 향후 제3자 제공 필요 시 제공받는 자, 제공목적, 제공항목을 이용자에게 고지하고 별도 동의를 받은 후 제공합니다.

③ 제3자에게 제공하는 경우 제공 즉시 이용자에게 통보합니다.

제8조 (8세 이하 아동 등의 보호의무자의 권리)

① 8세 이하 아동, 피성년후견인, 치매관리법 적용자 등의 생명 또는 신체의 보호를 위한 경우, 보호의무자의 동의가 있으면 개인위치정보의 이용에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

② 보호의무자는 서면 또는 이메일로 동의를 표시하고 언제든 이를 철회할 수 있습니다.

제9조 (개인위치정보주체의 권리)

이용자는 다음 각 호의 권리를 가지며, 회사는 이를 보장합니다.

• 개인위치정보 수집·이용·제공에 대한 동의의 일부 또는 전부 철회
• 개인위치정보 수집·이용·제공의 일시적 중지
• 이용·제공 사실 확인자료 등의 열람·고지·정정 요구
• 권리 행사는 team@letterbridge.co 로 요청

제10조 (위치정보의 정확성·신뢰성 한계)

① 회사는 위치정보의 정확성·신뢰성을 보장하지 않습니다. GPS 수신 환경, 단말기 성능, 기상조건 등에 따라 오차가 발생할 수 있습니다.

② 이로 인한 서비스 이용 중 손해에 대해 회사는 고의·중과실이 없는 한 책임을 지지 않습니다.

제11조 (서비스의 변경 및 중단)

회사는 운영·기술적 필요에 따라 서비스의 일부 또는 전부를 변경·중단할 수 있으며, 변경·중단 시 사전에 앱 또는 이메일로 통보합니다.

제12조 (분쟁의 조정)

① 위치정보 관련 분쟁은 회사와 이용자 간 협의로 우선 해결합니다.

② 협의가 이루어지지 않는 경우 방송통신위원회의 재정신청 또는 개인정보분쟁조정위원회의 조정을 신청할 수 있습니다.
